In November 2025, Georgia saw a significant reduction in its trade deficit, which contracted to USD 675.3 million from USD 933.3 million in the same month of the previous year. This represents the smallest deficit recorded since February 2023. The improvement was driven by a notable increase in exports alongside a decline in imports. Exports experienced a substantial uptick of 44.2% year-over-year, reaching USD 782.3 million. Meanwhile, imports slightly decreased by 1.2% to USD 1,457.5 million. Over the period from January to November, the trade deficit had expanded to USD 9,981.9 million compared to USD 9,180.7 million in the previous year. During this time, exports grew by 10.1% to USD 6,618.0 million, while imports saw an increase of 9.3%, amounting to USD 16,600.0 million.
